Check out this recipe for a Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria, a delightful concoction melding the crisp notes of alcoholic apple cider with the fruity richness of white wine and an assortment of fresh fruits.

What you’ll need:

- 1 bottle (750 ml) white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 2 cups alcoholic apple cider
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 2 tablespoons orange liqueur (e.g., triple sec)
- 1 green apple, thinly sliced
- 1 red apple, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1-2 cinnamon sticks
- 1-2 tablespoons honey (optional, for added sweetness)
- Sparkling water or club soda (to top off)

How to make it:

1. Wash and thinly slice the green and red apples, lime and the orange. If using strawberries, halve or quarter them.

2. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, alcoholic apple cider, brandy, and orange liqueur. Stir well to mix the liquids.

3. Add the sliced apples, lime and orange slices, mixed berries, and cinnamon sticks to the pitcher. If you prefer a sweeter sangria, you can also add honey at this stage. Stir gently to combine.

4. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the sangria chill for at least 2-4 hours to allow the flavors to meld. The longer it sits, the more the fruit infuses the liquid.

5. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the chilled sangria over the ice.

6. Just before serving, top off each glass with a splash of sparkling water or club soda for a refreshing effervescence.

7. Garnish individual glasses with a slice of apple, orange or lime for an extra decorative touch.

8. Sip and enjoy the crisp and fruity goodness of Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria. It's a delightful and refreshing summer cocktail perfect for warm days and outdoor gatherings.
